The STC-1 gives incredible results for close-miking all kinds of instruments (from bongo to banjo) or for overhead recordings.
However, it really comes into its own when used in pairs (either two individual STC-1 mics or our stereo pair STC-1S supplied with mounting bar), allowing you to capture impressive detail from acoustic guitar, piano, drumkit, ensemble, choir and more.
Its versatility doesn’t stop there though. With the addition of our optional OMNI or HYPER capsules, you can open up new world of potential, using the omnidirectional capsule for overhead and room miking or the hypercardioid option for super-focused pickup on instruments such as hi-hat within a drumkit.
STC-1 is a superb all-rounder, whatever or wherever you’re recording!
